Biography
Dr. Dhananjay Kumar is currently a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University (NCAT). He also holds a joint faculty position with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). He has developed a pulsed laser deposition assisted synthesis method for self-assembly of nanophase materials. This method is generic in nature and has been applied to the self-assembly of magnetic, superconducting, optical, and super-hard nanomaterials. He is actively engaged in professional societies such as MRS, APS, and EMRS.
